  We really enjoyed this vacation rental! The location was wonderful, and the rental was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great family vacation. I enjoyed sitting out on the wraparound deck every morning and evening by the water. Great location to relax and people watch. My grandson loved fishing right outside the house.
  
  Being right at Lakewood gave us so much to do without having to go far, and we loved being so close to the beach.
  
  The campground itself was fantastic and offered plenty of activities for everyone. It was especially nice having so many options for the kids while still being able to relax and enjoy our time together as a family.
  
  We had 2 minor issues so I called the repair/maintenance line. They were very friendly and addressed the issues right away. The team at Lakewood was great to work with, responsive, and made the whole process easy from booking through checkout. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing family getaway in Myrtle Beach!

  In general and overall our stay at 2881 Crater Lake was exceptional. The villa was in outstanding condition and accommodated us perfectly. Our only issue was that for the first 3 days we had to combat and exterminate spiders that were all over the entire deck area surrounding the villa. After that no one was comfortable using the deck because spiders were continually seen every nite. Other than that we had a luxurious stay for the entire 7 days we stayed at Lakewood. Our whole family had a tremendous time and we shall return again just as we have continued to do for the past nearly 10 years. This stay would have been a complete 5 star with the exception of the spiders not allowing us to use the deck to our fullest experience and enjoyment. Office was notified about the spider problem upon out departure and they stated that the problem would be resolved. We have already booked out vacation at 2881 for next year.

  We had a great time we did have some issue with the air conditioning but they were fix but when the first Mantance person that came out didn’t seem to want to help out much he came out twice before calling an ac guy he didn’t look around at the ac unit or under the house, which was where the problem was, but AC guy repaired guys were very helpful and fast

  This was our first visit to Lakewood Camping Resort and won’t be our last. Accommodations were neat and clean. We were centrally located so it was easy walking distance to the beach, Trading Post, and Coffee House. The gated porch for our dog was an absolute bonus. He loved sitting out there to watch the geese and ducks.

  This rental is in a great location. It is located on a dead end which was nice because we had a nice area to walk our dog. Inside was very clean. It is decorated nicely. It felt like we were at home. This might sound silly, but the cookware provided was very nice and so easy to clean. I appreciated that because there is no dishwasher. The washer and dryer are like new! We really loved having a nice big covered porch. The kids were able to leave their bikes up on the porch and close the gate. Plenty of parking for our vehicles and golf cart (yes, rent one). I do wish a few basic cleaning supplies were left for me to clean with. I wish I had Pin-Sol to keep the bathroom more clean and maybe a spray cleaner for the kitchen counter/stove. I did not travel with that. The outside covered porch needs a good pressure washing. There are cobwebs all over the rails , posts, banisters, and furniture. The porch furniture can use a good cleaning. The outside of the house, the ceiling of the porch along with all around the windows have a lot of black dirt and bugs around them. This rental is the cutest place and I really hope to see it maintained. If it were my rental I would try to give the outside a good rinse maybe every other week (after a good pressure wash ) to keep the bug and cobwebs away. Honestly, this place is so nice. Please do not let it go downhill. My parents stayed a few sites down and the place was not kept up like this one is. you could tell they never cleaned the fabric couch and chairs in the living room. It was rundown. Overall, WE LOVED our stay at 2881 Cater Lake. We already booked our stay with you again.
