  Our rental was nice and updated. Very clean. Pretty furniture and decor. Also felt like we had plenty of room for our family of 3. One of the downsides to this rental was there was not much outdoor space for us to sit. The patio had no shade/cover. There is an umbrella holder, so one of our beach umbrellas I just put in there so we would have a little block from the sun. Also, the only place to sit outside was the swing & it looked like it could fall apart at any minute, so we opted to sit in our beach chairs as well. The extra bedroom inside the rental was very spacious. Our only complaint was the amount of windows. As soon as the sun is up, so are you since it gets very bright in there. Also, the door to that bedroom was a sliding stain glass... very pretty just not that practical. Overall our stay was wonderful here and I would stay again!

  This was our first time at Lakewood. My husband and I stayed in this unit wihile my son and parents stayed nearby in their RV. This unit was perfect. It was very clean and hosted. The beds were very comfy and having two bathrooms was great! It was also very well stocked. The staff was very responsive when we had an internet iasue. They router had become unplugged and they had someone out within 10 minutes of our call. We will be booking again!

  Overall had a great time and experience with this vacation rental. Very nice and clean with updated appliances in the kitchen. Perfect for a family of 4 with small kids. Location was great. Very quiet and friendly neighbors. Short distance to beach or pool with golf cart. Pictures on website were exactly what house looked like in real life. LCR properties were friendly and easy to del with. Didn’t run into any problems or issues during our stay. Would recommend going in off season as there were less people and more laid back in the campground. No long lines or waits for anything at restaurants or attractions. Weather you want to go shopping at broadway, eat at Murrels inlet, or stay in the campground everything is within a short driving distance away! Would highly recommend

  I have stayed in several different places in Lakewood over the past few years. This one is by far the cutest, cleanest, and most up to date with renovations. It’s a 2 bedroom, 1 bath. It was perfect for my family if 4. I do wish the couch folded out into a bed. As I have 2 teenagers that didn’t want to sleep together. So my son slept on the couch. The Kitchen had all the dishes you could possibly need, then some. Even the dishes are cute.. whoever updated this place made very good use of space. I would definitely stay here again.

  My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this property. We had been to Lakewood Camping Resort several times in the past when we had our RV and always enjoyed it. After selling the RV last year, we decided to try staying in one of the rental properties this year and I'm so glad we did. This property was on a quiet street, clean, beautifully decorated, the beds were comfortable and we absolutely loved the kitchen. We much prefer cooking to eating out and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and then some. We will definitely be back! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

  This was the cleanest.most stocked,best decorated,little piece of paradise in the park. We just needed to go back to our roots for a few days to remmence and rest and we made more memories loved the place. My only complaint was the webs of some sort on the front porch. If I had a broom I would have swept the down but I did not let it bother me because the inside was so beautiful

  Overall our experience was good. We did have some issues. The WIFI would was not working for the first dqy and half. Spectrum had to come and fix it. It had been connected wrong. Pocket door in 1 bedroom was all glass instead of a solid door causing no privicy in this bedroom. The water tank apparently is not large enough for this unit since the hot water kept going out. We would stay here again. The outside needs to be pressure washed, spider webs everywhere and mildew on siding. I was told that we were the first family to rent from the new owner which could be why some of these issues had not been addressed.
