  The rooms much larger than the photos made it seem, we were able to squeeze my babies pack n play beside the bed and still have room to move around it was very nice. Personally I would have loved to have a little more storage in the rooms to unpack our things but I also understand it being a tight fit. I think it’s definitely time for some furniture updates as the couch sinks in when you sat on it and there was lots of wear and tear on the recliner, sofa and ottoman. Overall it was a very nice place to stay and we will be back!

  We had a large group of friends with campers so this was perfect for the non-camper group. We rented a golf cart to easily go to their sites and the beach. From check-in to golf cart rentals, everything was very quick and easy. The rental unit was nicely decorated and had what we needed. Highly recommend!

  We had an enjoyable week at this nice little house. The master bedroom is roomy with its own bath. It has a big screen TV which we never turned on. The second bedroom is fairly tight, but it is OK with a queen size bed. The third bedroom is a double bed on bottom and a twin on top bunk bed. It is the only room that has a closet so we had to all hang our hanging clothes in there. The second bath is fairly small with a shower. The kitchen is nice with a table that is big enough for six people. The appliances were updated stainless and very nice. It has a washer and dryer in a building behind the house. It is a fairly short walk to the beach and a little further walk to the water park.We enjoyed our stay very much.

  This was my family’s first visit to Lakewood . This home stood out as we were trying to book a vacation home online . We were not disappointed & we had no complaints regarding our home. Lakewood Vacation Rental staff were friendly & provided good customer service . We appreciated their phone call that we were able to check in the home early since we had arrived early to Myrtle Beach. Lakewood Vacation Rental gave us a map with directions to our rental home which we found easily .The home was very clean, well maintained and spacious . The Master bedroom with adjoining bathroom was larger than what we had expected . All the beds were comfortable to sleep in .The kitchen was well equipped . We had enough room space & storage space . There was a supply cabinet in kitchen for our supplies & dry foods . A large closet was in the twin/bunk bed room in which our family were able to put our clothes , shoes & other supplies in . We loved the home’s location as we were in walking distance to the beach in which we visited daily . When leaving the beach , we loved that the home had a outside shower at the home to rinse the sand off before entering the home . Our family were also able to walk to the amphitheater area for ice cream & snacks . We were at Lakewood for a long weekend . We did not ask LVR how to unlock the storage building for washer & dryer as we did not have to use it . We thank the owners of the home for having a notebook journal in the home that we could write in to introduce ourselves & list how they could improve visitors stay. As stated earlier, we had no complaints . We enjoyed our stay at Lakewood & plan to come back to the same residence .

  My family really liked renting this home for a long weekend. We would have liked to see more closet space; it was limited especially in the master bedroom. We only utilized the bunk room by placing our pack and play inside for my 1 year old so we kept our luggage on the extra bed and used the bed as a closet for my husband and I’s belongings. The weather was great also! The toddler splash pad was closed one day during our trip for maintenance but had no other hiccups during our trip.
