  Been coming here for years, this is the first time we've had any issues. Maintenance really needs to inspect this villa, really in need of repairs and updating. There was a bad ant issue, feel it needs sprayed for insects, and the door seal needs replaced, for it allowed other bugs in. There is a leak in between the kitchen and living room step up. My pillow was "literally" falling apart, this place needs new bedding! The microwave must have not been cleaned, or someone would've known the handle was broken off, and just hanging on. Water pressure was horrible in the kitchen sink. Lastly there was an a/c register blowing hot air. The place can be a nice accommodation if these issues are addressed. We've been coming here for years and this us the first time we've had any issues, but if no one else makes you aware, you'll never know.Love Lakewood!! 🧡

  It was lovely and we appreciated the Seascape location as it is quiet and less busy there. We miscalculated our departure date and the office was so kind to allow us an extra day even though it threw off the spring cleaning schedule for our unit. We felt terrible, but Kristin was so kind and understanding and we appreciated it greatly.
  We have reserved another unit for next year.....just down the street from this one. We look forward to returning!

  It was our very first time at Lakewood. Our kids usually come with their Grandparents every year and we decided to join them this year. Lakewood had a vibe all its own. From the fun rides on the Golfcart, the awesome food at the Trading Post, the ice cream was amazing, the Starbucks coffee shop, and the list goes on. There isn't a thing you can think of that Lakewood doesn't have. 1 week is not enough time to enjoy all that it has to offer. Next time we want to stay for 2. The Rental was adorable and spotless and sits towards the back where its nice and quiet. The washer and dryer came in handy. We enjoyed sitting in the front porch at night. The Staff at the resort were friendly and sweet. We had an awesome time and will be back!

  The location is great--perfect for family with young children, very quiet area. The pictures listed are not current, would like to note that all carpet has been removed and new luxury vinyl plank flooring was installed (which looks great!) Place was very clean and kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay there again.

  We go to Myrtle Beach every year. Decided we would try a different place to stay this year and tried Lakewood. Overall had a great vacation. Happy with the villa and campground. Only problem was too many young kids "under 16" driving golf carts being loud. Lakewood was a clean, family friendly place to stay. Miss it already.

  This isn't the nicest place we have stayed in at Lakewood but it is the first with 2 full baths and a washer and dryer. It fit our family well. The only suggestion I would have is to have less carpet.

  This was our first time staying and renting a house in Lakewood. We found everyone to be very nice and welcoming. The house was very nice and clean and well kept. The campground overall was nice and clean. We also were proud to see there was a Bible verse on the road sign and the Christmas lighting on the island were about the birth of Jesus and not Santa Claus. We will go back for another stay.

  The home was clean and the furniture and beds were comfortable. There were nice chairs on the deck, a charcoal grill, and outdoor hose with sprayer which was really nice for rinsing off. Kitchen was well stocked. The only thing we didn’t care for was carpeting throughout and area rugs on top of the carpeting. Laminate would be a nice upgrade.

  We stay at Lakewood every year almost on our summer vacation. This villa was beyond our expectations. It was very clean and even had a washer and dryer!! We had a wonderful time and for sure will be back. This was our sons first beach trip and look forward to many more with him at Lakewood!
