  I rented the house for my parents and I stayed in the camper, my dogs are way over the weight limit lol. They enjoyed the house and the entire campground to the full! The only thing it rained one night and the ceiling dripped in the living room near the ceiling fan and we left early and didnt get to tell anyone when we checked out but other than that it was GREAT! The staff is always great, thats why I keep coming back:)

  This house was better than the pictures! The location was perfect and the permanent residents on this street were friendly, inviting, and amazing to hang out with. There is a ton of storage throughout this house for personal items and the owners have really used all the space well to make a small square footage layout seem much more spacious. My only complaint was the air in the extra room was a bit lacking and adding a fan (even a portable one) would have been helpful. I would definitely suggest bring a few for the hot SC summers - I don't think the air in the home was lacking with such hot temps, but fans for hot natured people is a must! It was a great first time rental for us and we are already booked for next year! Highly recommend this rental space!

  We loved the cute, beach-y villa we stayed in! It was the perfect size for my family and we really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend taking a fan just because it gets warm during the day. It had everything I needed as far as kitchen supplies and we loved that it had a washer and dryer! The only thing we didn’t like was pesky little friends crawling on the counter and I’m guessing the visitors before us had a dog and it smelled like urine for the first day, but it happens.

  Stayed here with my husband, our three boys, and our niece. It was AMAZING! The house was well maintained, the concrete pad was a nice “upgrade” from previous vacation rentals at other locations. We enjoyed the amenities. The only “issue” I had was that the height restrictions on the water slides didn’t allow for anyone below 48” to ride them, but that had nothing to do with the rental and wasn’t Lakewood’s fault my children aren’t tall enough!

  Overall, the villa was clean and comfortable. However, there is a bit of a bug infestation going on at the moment. The decor was pleasant, with a few exceptions of worn, dated furniture. I would stay here again, provided the bug problem is solved.

  We had a lovely stay at villa 6227. It was clean and very comfortable. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, but we blew up our air mattress and placed it on top and omgoodness instant heaven! We learned this trick from past experiences. We had everything we could possibly need in our villa, including a crock-pot! The best part was being able to take our little Boston Terrier dog with us. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us! We look forward to next year!

  6227 was a rental property checking in was a bit of a pain but we understand. The house was lovely as it was last year when we rented it however the amount of dog hair on the couch floor and underneath the couches was food that my dog was extremely interested in as well as dog toys left over. Our dog is a 12 pound Shorkey Pooh that does not shed. Everything else was lovely. We wish we could’ve booked a golf cart ahead of time because I bring my 80-year-old mother and it made me nervous not to know if I was going to get a golf cart.I also had to park in Walmart and walk across to get picked up from the rest of our family members who had already checked in. That was not convenient at all. Hopefully we will all decide to come back and that is for five spots the week of the Fourth of July.

  We had a pleasant 2 weeks. Also remembering childhood memories. Only downfall was,to much remodeling. The noise and parking for the last week was an imposition.   Accommodations were very nice. However, the dryer lint trap was full of lint! It didn't look like it had been cleaned in months. Since this is definitely a fire hazard, I would recommend that all dryers be checked on a regular basis. Other than that, everything was very nice. We will definitely do this again.
