  This villa was perfect for our stay. Plenty of room, bathroom is updated and very nice, the villa was clean and smelled great. We had a small issue with the AC but maintenance responded quickly and fixed the problem immediately. We will stay here again.

  Really confortable for 2 adults and 2 big kids. Space for every one and large bathroom (a big advantage compare to other homes). Litterally 3 minutes walk from the beach. Some furnitures nead to be change, but we mentionned it to the rental desk (single beds are very noisy and unconfortable, and 1 couch was broken). The vue on the lake is an advantage.

  Good unit. Bathroom update makes it ahead of most. Hot and cold water lines are backwards in kitchen and bathroom sink. Could use a bench or island in kitchen. Great location near lake. Check in process was disorganized with no communication between staff and desk personnel, so they decided to make dozens wait to check in at exactly 4pm and afterwards.

  House was clean. Good amenities and household items. No broom to care for floors. I bought one and left it for continued use. King bed placement is awkward. When folded out it blocks the only door to the residence making it a little unsafe for quick exits/emergencies

  Villa was clean and plenty of space for our group of 4. We were comfortable and felt as though we could relax. My only wish was that the shower was bigger because we are all 5’10” and over. Would I recommend this place to others or stay there again? Absolutely!!

  After staying here in this same unit in March of 23 for a few days made us decide we wanted to come back in the summer for a week. We stayed in August of 23 and had a fabulous time. Their was 4 of us, my wife our son and his girlfriend. Place is perfect size for four people. Everything worked properly and place was clean as before and the location cannot be beat. There is a golf cart at the property but is NOT included in the rental as some are with others. You can rent a cart however from Lakewood which is what we did.

  This rental property was great and clean! And a great location across from the lake! We had such an amazing week. Lakewood is somewhere I grew up going to. So I wanted to bring my boy to experience Lakewood!! One complaint I have is I was unaware that rental check in was somewhere different then the camping check in so I went there and they sent me to go check in at security then security sent me back to the check in office and then I was finally informed of where to check in. The only other complaint I have is the door knob on the bathroom door stuck and to get in and out of bathroom the door wouldn’t open a few times because of the knob sticking. So that’s about it. Other than that we had a wonderful time and would rent that same rental again! I would absolutely recommend this rental to friends and family! Thanks for having us Lakewood and giving my family and I a great and pleasant stay and experience!

  Overall the vacation rental good and met all of our needs. The location was nice with a great view of the lake. The parking was tight for our minivan and the rented golf cart. It was a tight squeeze to get the cart close enough to the outlet to charge. The listing says 2 bedrooms, but the “2nd bedroom” technically isn’t a bedroom as there’s just a screen separating it from the living area. This made it difficult for the adults to hangout at night in the living area when it was bedtime for the kids. Just a warning for families with little kids that have early bedtimes. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay, although the oven is a bit small. During really hot days, the A/C definitely struggled to keep the place cool. The temperature would get as high as 79 in the middle of the afternoon, but was able to catch up and cool by 7:30pm. The linens being included with the rental was nice; however the bath towels aren’t good quality and are pretty small, so you may want to pack your own. The check in process took a while since they only had two people checking everybody in. They were struggling to turnover the units in time for the next wave of people. Even at 4:30pm people were getting turned away because their unit wasn’t ready yet. We enjoyed the campground and all its amenities. It’s definitely not as crowded as OceanLakes.

  We have rented this unit three times. The covered porch is good on rainy days and for sun protection. We enjoy the lake view. The bathroom is large with walk in shower and has lots of storage. 6330 is a clean and comfortable unit. Parking is tight. A small/medium car and a golf cart fill up the space.

  The unit is very nice and clean. Sleeps 4 comfortably. May not be the place if you plan on hanging out inside the unit as seating and space is limited. We were out and about most of the time so was awesome for us. One thing I didn't understand was there was no light or vent in the stove hood. Place can get a little smoky when cooking certain foods. Would definitely recommend. Great location.

  When I was my a child my family always went to Lakewood. As an adult I enjoy going with my children. Due to the minimum stay being lifted my family was able to squeeze in a 5 night stay this year. Our villa was tight with parking our vehicle and a golf cart due to an annual lease golf cart being parked there as well. The staff was very pleasant throughout the whole stay and very helpful. We did go to the information center to book some experiences outside the resort and the staff was very attentive and even suggested places to eat and other experiences we needed to check out. My children (9,7) enjoyed the amenities and the activities the resort had planned, their favorite was the lucky duck dash! Overall I think Lakewood is a great resort for families to vacation and will be continuing trying to make a trip every year. Thank you for our lovely stay!!

  Our visit to Lakewood this year was probably our most favorite yet due to the wonderful experience with the unit, the location, campground issues in the past that have been addressed wonderfully, the staff, and the maintenance professional who was the best ! It was perfect for us, we loved everything about it this year ! ..when we did have a couple of minor issues, the staff in the office and the maintenance professional Maurice were both timely and FANTASTIC !! Thank you for making our 2022 stay one for the books. P.S. Pleeeeease bring back the $$ loadable wrist bands. That is a most convenient feature provided in the past that is SORELY missed.

  Hi, since this was our first time at Lakewood campground we just can’t wait to come again!!! We felt safe there! We enjoyed meeting other campers and residents.   The unit itself was clean and spacious and decorated nicely. There were a few issues like: the refridge leaked water, the heating elements on the stove were bent upwards, so it was hard to cook evenly. It's an older unit & is showing signs of wear and tear, but it did not take away from the overall experience of living there. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The beach is nice, close and not very crowded. We would rent this unit again. The one thing they could change is throw out the filthy recliner in the living room. Overall, it's a nice vacation rental.

  We really enjoyed our stay. We were very close to the beach. The house had plenty of room. The pull out couch was comfortable and we fought over the recliner because it was so comfy to sit in (my son actually slept in it instead of the bed). The porch was a little small, but there was a patio at the side of the house with a large picnic table.

  We enjoyed our stay. Our villa had enough beds to sleep us and our 4 children comfortably. The children didn’t have to share with each other so they loved that. 2 pull out couches, 2 twin beds and a queen bed slept us all very well. It wasn’t far from the beach at all and not too far of a walk from the pool either but we usually took the golf cart there. Everything was clean and well kept. The pink couch in the kitchen area is really only fit for use as a couch or if the bed is pulled out it’s best if a smaller child lays there- it’s dated and not very comfortable (kids didn’t care but I wouldn’t have wanted to sleep on it). That’s our only complaint but not really a complaint. It worked for us. Thank you so much.
