  As always we had a great time. The rentals location does receive a lot of traffic because it is a main road and close to the store/ice cream/laundry bldg. The inside was clean but the couch had a number of stains on it. We've enjoyed coming here for years.

  It was nice and close to all the activities for children. Only thing I did have ants in house and my car. But overall I enjoyed and so did my grandkids. We will be returning. Hopefully we can get the same one. The fish pond is in front of my rental.

  The furniture needs some deep cleaning, the microwave is very outdated and didn't work like it should, and the water pressure was low. Unsure if this is just the shower head or general pressure. Overall, the campground is wonderful and the amenities are above average. We were very pleased with the overall stay at this rental.

  The rental unit was great for us and another couple. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable sleeping. Our friends did find candy wrappers under the bed.(not from us)The Venetian blinds were the only distraction. Lots of broken blinds especially on the door window.

  Vacation here at Lakewood was great. I couldn't have asked for a better time. Location was really close to things that we wanted to see or do. If we wanted to drive somewhere, it wasn't to far of a drive. Low Ceilings if you are over 6' and window blinds were broken in some areas. Told the front desk and we were not responsible for them.

  Such a cute little place for a getaway. Only cons I would say would be it would be nice to have a water hose to rinse off sand and if you are over 6’ watch your head because you will bang it quite often on the ceiling and beam.

  The rental was just fine and we had a great time. The only thing that might need to be addressed is the AC situation. During the day, the one unit in the kitchen/den area and one in main bedroom were not adequate to cool these areas. We ended up buying fans to be used inside as well.

  Our overall stay was very nice. However, there is a street light right outside the master bedroom which lights up the whole room at night making it difficult to sleep. We had to put up a blanket in front of the window to block some of the light. Darken shades of blinds would help. The walk-in shower was nice but had nothing to hold on to. Some grips on the floor of the shower would help from being to slippery. Maybe a hand grip as you get out would help. It wasn’t easy for my wife to get out of the shower since there was nothing to hold on to. A number of blinds in the Florida room were broken and should be replaced. The microwave was small and a little dated. The unit itself was quite nice and very roomy. With a few updates to some of the items above. This would be a great unit.

  The property location was probably my favorite part. Right on one of the main roads coming in. There during bike week and it was awesome seeing all the bikes come and go! Other than the fact that they told me where to put my trailer in the overflow, and then made me move it twice, saying it was not in the correct spot, it was a great trip.

  It was a great vacation. The house was nice and was as advertised . It made you feel at home. The location was the best. Loved looking out all of the windows. My sister is in a wheelchair.   Lakewood Campground is always a joy for our family, however, this particular property we stayed in left a little to be desired. The floors were not level and we weren’t crazy about the location due to traffic. With that being said though, the ac was cold and the place was clean and we had everything we needed there.

  We were really pleased, and surprised, with our stay at Lakewood. We have rented many beach houses over the years in both Myrtle Beach, SC and Ocean Isle, NC. None of those can compare to our stay at Lakewood! The house was perfect; every need or want was met. The campground has everything a family vacation needs: beautiful setting, activities, and wonderful staff! We will definitely be coming back for our next vacation!!!

  We had a very good time if there was any changes that could be made it would be a little bit bigger bathroom because I kept bumping into the shower curtain and also the kitchen curtains were dirty and the water was kind of odd it just felt like you couldn’t get clean or something I guess it was soft water maybe it wasn’t what were used to I guess And it would be nice to have handicap parking for cars for those who need a car instead of a golf cart. But we would highly recommend Lakewood we were blessed as well as refreshed!! So impressed with your campground and we hope to see you next year!! We love the gospel singing on Friday night and the little beach party on Tuesday night! We were amazed at all the young people that came up for prayer at the beach party!   We stayed here for spring break with 2 adults 4 kids and overall was very good however there were a few problems along the way that were fixed, 1) ants were everywhere inside the kitchen but flagged down a worker and they sprayed within an hour, 2) all the electricity went off when i tried to cook and dry clothes at the same time,3) my kids shoes were stolen from the indoor pool but security did nothing about it.

  Although we had some issues - no heat at night, no air in day (except last) never got any heat, bathroom floor flooding every time we took a shower we still enjoyed our stay. LCR team tried so hard to help us and we’re all sooo nice. The property needed some work and updating. Definitely needed new furniture and decor. Liked the location. People did tend to drive too fast around the curve in front of the property

  My experience was good, my first time staying on a RV resort. Overall the the rental was nice. Everything was beat and clean, all the amenities that i needed were right in my rental. I wish the second bedroom had a television also the blinds were all broke up so if we were getting dressed we needed to put a blanket over a few of the blinds for privacy, also at night with the lights on you could see right inside due to all the broken blinds. Nevertheless we made it work and it did not put a damper on our vacation.

  We have stayed at Lakewood campground for over 10 years in our camper and sold it this year. We love the campground and decided to stay in the villas. The pictures of this one were very inviting and within our budget. We enjoyed this sweet little spot!!! Perfect place had everything we needed because we cooked the whole time there. Only thing to make sure is that the air in bedroom with the mirrors works! It shut off on us, thankfully we were there during the time of year it wasn’t a big deal. It will be if you there in the heat!!!

Friends were camping nearby, and it was easy to visit and travel with them via golf cart. The Oldies music from the Canteen area was awesome!   We enjoyed our stay in this nice villa. It was clean, convenient and comfortable. We believe the site would benefit from a stricter control on golf carts. We saw many drivers either going too fast, with the cell phone in hands and obviously not realizing how seriously driving these carts should really be as it can severely hurt someone.
