  This villa was very nice and open, except for the bedrooms and baths were tight for us. But you’re not in there very ouch so it was fine. One of the bedrooms mattress was great but the other bedroom mattress was really a sinkhole in the middle. It wasn’t uncomfortable for 1 person, but it was hard to get out of. lol And both beds are only full size. It would be nice to have a kerig coffee maker. If you can’t climb stairs, it’s not for you. But over all it was really nice and we enjoyed staying here and you will too.

  The view all around this property was amazing. The box spring & mattress in the front room desperately need to be replaced. The cleaning that was done right before our stay could’ve been way better. But over all we enjoyed our stay.

  This is our favorite villa to rent. Have rented others and they just didnt cut it for me. The front bedroom that faces the ocean is in need of a new mattress. Two people will be sleeping in the middle! That is the only flaw with the unit. Make sure you check out the fold out sofas and make sure they are clean...yes I rented it again!

  We enjoyed this vacation home very much ! We loved the wrap around porch and the water behind the house and being dog friendly was all a plus . We spent a lot of time on the porch facing the ocean in the evening. The kitchen had all that we needed for cooking our meals. Our daughters family and grandkids stayed close by in their camper making it very convenient. The only down side was the one mattress in the front of the house really needs to be replaced. We tried to lay on it and immediately rolled into the middle in a hole that you had to climb out of! There was no way the two of us could of slept in the bed.

  Been coming to Lakewood for 8 years now. My family has campers I don’t. We have rented this unit six of our 8 years and have rebooked for next year! I take my grandkids and they enjoy the location to the families camp sites and the deck. They need to update the photos but it’s comfortable and works for us!

  Everything was nice and I loved the kitchen and the deck
  The only I saw that Lakewood needs is more activities for adults and high school kids, they only had 2 tourneys for the week ping pong and corn hole,
  They should also have volleyball and basketball on weekday. Also there is no gym now, other then that it was fun

  We came to stay at Lakewood the day after Ian, pleasantly surprised we were even allowed to stay, after the storm surge that the campground endured. Despite some electrical problems, Lakewood worked to make sure we had electricity and air in our unit and came back on Sunday to fix anything else that was not working. thank you.
  
  The outside of our unit was not clean due to the storm, but the inside was very clean. There were a few things that needed some attention ; such as, the bed bug cover on one of the beds was shredded, newer mattress in one of the bedrooms and a baby gate at the tops of the stairs.

  We enjoyed the proximity of the rental home to the beach. We also enjoyed being able to sit on the deck and see the water. The home is nice, but the bathrooms are very, very small. Difficult to turn around in and move your arms, small. There were also cobwebs in the rental, but it is supposedly cleaned between each guest? We found that odd. Would stay at Lakewood Campground again, but might choose a different rental.

  We love Villa 7249. It was perfect for my husband and I, my mom and my daughter and her friend on the couch. The unit's AC works incredibly well and it is stocked with everything that we needed. We also love the room under the unit which is very clean. The yard wasn't mowed until Thursday of our stay which was a bummer as we would have loved to take pics in the back but we took them elsewhere.

  This is our 8th year staying at Lakewood. Loved the location of this home. To see the ocean above all the campers was a nice perk! Nice back yard to fish and enjoy the pond. Plenty of space inside. Loved the wrap around deck!

  Overall the unit is fantastic, and beautifully decorated. The owners provided wifi that works very well. There are plenty of dishes, pots and pans to cook with. Large microwave and very nice full size refrigerator. The view from the deck is excellent from the front and back, the evenings are wonderful on the front deck looking at the ocean because the sun is behind the house. The air conditioning worked great. I would definitely stay here again. We are a family of 4, with two upper teenage boys. They loved the wifi most.

  The location of this villa is great! You can see both the lake and the ocean. The parking is very convenient as well. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the dining room/den area was very open and spacious. The two bedrooms were extremely small with very little space around the beds. Each bedroom had a small closet, and half of that is locked for owner space. It would be nice to have access to the entire closet since it is small, and there is no floor space for a suitcase. A washer and dryer would be a good addition to the villa. Being able to wash clothes and beach towels in the evening while hanging out in the villa enjoying the view would be great. This villa was the first one we have stayed in that did not have a washer/dryer. A single person in a bedroom would be comfortable, but there is not enough room for 2 people and their stuff. We had to leave some of our stuff in the den area. We would stay here again with a smaller group, but to fit 6 people in this unit was too tight. The outside shower was good to rinse off your feet, but if it had a privacy fence around it, it would have been much more useful, especially since there is only one shower in the unit.
