  Everything was perfect! we rented the 8046 and got the property on time (4PM) and everything was ready. It was a big house for a family of 6. the upstairs was perfect for the kids, as there was an extra living room. Of course the resort didn't change. the pool with the slides if so good for our kids. We will come back for sure. The description of the location was accurate, it's for big families. Myrtle beach is an amazing place, and the Lakewood is our favorite.

  Overall this was a very nice house with lots of space. We wasn't able to get into the house until 6 because it wasn't cleaned yet and a vent in the ceiling upstairs fell down. Luckily nobody was standing under it when it decided to fall. Other than those couple of snags it was a really nice place for our vacation.

  We were very pleased when we arrived at our vacation rental. It was spacious and beautiful. The location is a ways from the beach but that was expected and not a problem. The people around in other villas were friendly and was well equipped and the furniture was nice and comfortable. We had some issues with the air conditioning but that was taken care of quickly and efficiently. We enjoyed the outdoor yard games provided by the park as well as the indoor pool and hot tub. We also enjoyed the beach. We participated in the Bingo and Whiteflag shuffle. And we always enjoy the Sunday worship services and the covered dish dinners on Thursday evenings. I would most definitely recommend staying at Lakewood Camping Resort. We have been going there occasionally for the last 30+ years and more often and for longer stays the last few years. Looking forward to next year.

  My family and I enjoyed our stay. When we arrived the food disposal wasn't working and the sink was draining slowly. It was fixed within hours of my reporting it. Overall, the property was good. It could use additional food storage containers with lids. We enjoyed having so many things available to do without additional charges. We are already planning our return next year!

  We loved the location and all the space that we had for 8 people. It was dated and could use some improvements. The countertop needs replacing as there is a large crack behind faucet. A lot of lightbulbs needed replacing and ALL the drains need to be unclogged. We bought draino just so we weren’t standing in water while showering. Minor details that could be fixed. Overall we loved the rental and can’t wait to go back

  Overall we had a very nice stay. The home was spacious enough for everyone to fit comfortably.
  We did experience some difficulties. First we encountered a ant problem. When we arrived we noticed a trail of ants coming and going from a huge crack in the granite behind the kitchen faucet.
  We picked up some ant motels and raid to alleviate the problem. We kept all food put away but would occasionally see them.Our daughter stayed in one of the upstairs bedrooms and reported a ant crawled across her face while she was in bed.
  Another problem was the dryer did not work. We called and the maintenance man came the next day. They were unable to fix it and told us to keep track of what we spent on laundry. We were forced to use the laundromat which was an inconvenience and took time away from other things we could have been doing, (could not leave laundry in machines without being there).
  We noticed on the kitchen counter instructions for a game that was not on the premises, which made us question the cleaning of the home. There were what looked like, blood stains on the master bathroom shower curtain. It appeared to be a blood stain that was duplicated by the fold in the curtain. Again we questioned the cleanliness of the home.
  We did not have enough towels and wash cloths which became a bigger problem when we were not able to use the dryer.
  We noticed we had ants in our vehicle. Before we left I spent $15 to vacuum and
  clean the inside of our van. We wiped down everything and packed our vehicle and left. A few hours into my the ride we noticed ants in our the vehicle. The next day before resuming our trip we had to completely empty everything out of the van and clean it again. This time, after cleaning it, we used Raid and Boric Acid powder. We had brought an iron and found the ants had made a home inside all of the holes in the bottom of the iron. When I sprayed Raid on the flat part of the iron, hundreds of ants came out.   We have been coming here for so many years that I have lost count. It is always a great experience and we love seeing all of the improvements. Everything is so neat and clean all over the campground. We have stayed in different rentals all over the campground but 8046 Seascape has been where we have stayed for the last 4 years and I have to say that it is always clean however the condition of the house itself needs alot of repair/home improvements.
  My entire family, sister and her family will continue to come here and we hope that when our kids are older they will bring their families also. Its a tradition that we hope carries on well into the future. We love it at Lakewood!

  The house is advertised as sleeps 10 but you will not be able to park more than 2 cars at the house. There is overflow parking but it is outside of the campground gates and you do have to pay nightly! In fairness they do have this information on the rental agreement but it's a little late at that point.

  Very nice place, loved the kitchen/dining area, the baths, bedrooms were very spacious and well equipped with dressers. Few things need to be addressed as far as maintenance of the property. Very good location, nice quiet area. Recommendations would be:: provide more bath towels, dish towels, pot holders, etc. Half bath flooring is weak and the toilet is loose which will cause floor damage if not repaired soon. A fan in the upstairs bedroom would be nice. Bathtubs are very slick when showering, we used handtowels in the bottom of the tub to keep from falling.

  8046 was a super nice place to stay. It was perfect for us, and it is perfect for bigger parties. It was clean and spacious and I would recommend this place to anyone! The only thing that was kind of a hassle was finding a plug for the golf cart to charge. The only plug was on the side of the house and it was difficult to get around the car and plug it up as high as it was.
