  Our yearly trip to Myrtle Beach we ALWAYS stay at Lakewood Resort. Unit 8025 was very spacious 2 B/R have attached LARGE rest room. Deck nice and shady.

  We enjoyed our stay at lakewood for fall break. Rental was nice and roomy for our family. Everything worked, and was reasonably clean. I would suggest you take a extra mattress pad for the back bedroom. It was like sleeping on a rock... The other beds were ok. The view from the porch was great, but it's not covered,it would limit your outside views during rainy weather. We love lakewood,and have been camping here for 40 years... we have rented a villa for 4 years and have enjoyed that too. We will be back soon. Happy Camping!

  It was helpful to have two entrances to the house especially with children. The deck being in the back overlooking a small stream of water and trees provided relaxation and privacy. The driveway was big enough for large vehicles and golf cart.

  The villa was very nice overall and we would definitely rent it again. It is much roomier than other villas we have rented there, has a nice view of the bay and pond out back and nicely decorated. There were a few small things like no garbage can in the kitchen and it needs some TLC (deck is in rough shape, door frame rotten, mattress in "master" was sunken in in the middle badly). That being said we were happy with our stay there and it offered everything we needed to have a nice stay.

  We have been enjoying Lakewood for 22 years.We have raised our kids here and wouldn’t have it any other way.
  The unit was very clean and had plenty of room for our family of 8.
  The A/C unit was outstanding.
  The deck is in poor repair and not safe at sags in spots and is dry rotted.
  The back door kick plate is all but rotted out and rain came in the back door and covered the hardwood flooring.
  The microwave handle is broken and the front vent is missing.
  All in all a good stay but due to the deck situation we will not return to this unit.

  We came down for our yearly vacation, but unfortunately we had to leave early due to a death in the family, my daughter and her family stayed the extra two days, Lakewood is our favorite place to stay at the beach everyone is so nice and the park is ste up where everything is close. Now the bad our unit had a lot of small things wrong like around the front door its starting to rot out, the doors in the bedroom where off track and broke the deck boars where in bad shape. this unit would be very nice if the porch was covered and all the small things fixed.
