  We have stayed at 5 different villas over the past 6 years and never had any issues. This is the first one with multiple broken things (kitchen drawers, closet drawers, couch, etc). The porch steps were uneven and there was layers of dust in the vents. It just seemed really beat up. We love Lakewood and still had a great vacation, but I will never choose this villa again.

  Everything was in good order and as described. We had one small plumbing issue, but LCR sent someone over to fix it right away. The only slightly annoying thing about Lakewood rentals is that it takes us a long time to get our security deposit back at the end of the stay.

  We live Lakewood- we’ve stayed several times. It’s our home away from home. The church service was perfect. The assistant pastor did an outstanding job- I can’t stop listening to Christ be magnified- thank you! The accommodations were great except the kitchen was a little under stocked. Our rental could hold 8 - we had 5 forks. We bought some plastic ones. We have stayed in others that have had mixing bowls, mixers and crock pots. This one didn’t, but that’s the only negative. We will be back.

  We enjoyed this unit as it was very clean. Also very roomy. Great location in park. Not far from fishing. We was with friends and took mother-in-law as well. We all had plenty of room as it has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. It was pet friendly as well. We would rent this one again!!!

  We realized when we arrived that we had stayed in this rental unit 8 years ago and it is one of our favorites. The unit is neat, VERY clean and the area is quiet. We were able to check in smoothly on a Holiday through the Security Office. Those Guys are always helpful and courteous. Any questions we had about our stay were answered by the LCR staff. We recommend Lakewood for a great bargain and beautiful setting!

  We spent six weeks in this villa. It was very clean. My only complaint was the beds need new mattresses. They all sink to the middle. When we arrived there was an electrical outlet pulled out of the wall. We reported it to Lakewood. They came out promptly and took pictures. I would recommend this villa. We love Lakewood and will return next September.

  We love Lakewood Campground! Been here many times and make wonderful family memories. Loved all the activities they offer- and the beach and pool are the best!
  
  My family was there for a family reunion – so our group rented 4 houses in the Seascape area. There were pros and cos to this rental unit.
  
  The pros: Dog friendly, lots of space, loved having the 3br 2 bath, awesome hot water in showers, the location is wonderful. With that being said they can upgrade and add things to this unit that would make the vacation more comfortable. Add a glass front door, add a gate at the top of the porch- since dog friendly, Unit needs new mattresses-theirs were way to soft you sink in the middle, front deck needs boards replaced (one spot people kept tripping), Paint the front door, updated vacuum that you can vacuum furniture too, Umbrella needed for the porch table since there is no shade, and more serving pieces/baking ware in the kitchen. As mentioned other family members rented houses on the same road and we had to borrow things from their well- stocked kitchen. Also- the recliner sofa- should be removed- took up to much space and didn’t work. My parents rented 8134 next door- beautiful upgrades inside and nice covered porch- highly recommend that unit. Since I bring a small dog- this is the only dog friendly unit in this area- Seascape needs more dog friendly units. Will definitely return to Lakewood- hoping this unit makes some updates.

  Nice location ! new furniture ! I did bring 2 chair 1 couch cover to protect their furniture I did buy and leave two new material shower curtains the cheap White plastic were all ripped. I moved all the furniture and cleaned underneath everything people need to think of it as their home

  We enjoyed our stay at 8133 Seascape. Clean and spacious enough for the family. Distance from the beach was overcome by rides in the back of the truck. Plenty to do for the family and the park staff did a great job of getting the lazy river and slides done for the weekend. Great family atmosphere. Beds were a little soft for our liking.

  Love Lakewood and we will be back. First time in this villa. We were not very impressed with the upkeep of villa.TVs didn't work, refrigerator leaked water all over floor, washing machine didn't work, the one bedroom door was in need of attention. It kept falling off. It wasn't very clean & furniture was rough.

  After 30 years of camping at Lakewood, we decided to make it easy on ourselves, have more room, and gather the family together in a rental there. The home was roomy enough for 6 adults and a baby. It was way back in the park, but we rented a golf cart, so that was ok with us. Best things: air conditioning worked great after long hot days; plenty of seating on the deck; a previous renter had left a charcoal grill behind, which we made good use of. Not so best things: the beds were ALL very uncomfortable; the two bathtubs need their drains cleaned out as they filled with water as you showered; we had to get creative with the washing machine as the most popular cycle on it did not drain the clothes well, so we had to do an extra spin to get them drained enough to put into the dryer; and finally, the kitchen lacked some basic items that a quick trip to the Dollar Tree would have solved. No plastic strainer (for pasta), just one small plastic bowl to mix a salad in, etc. All in all, we did not spend much time in the rental, and had great weather all week. We will rent again, but perhaps try another area of the park. Lakewood is a wonderful campground, and we will be back!
