  This was our 4th stay at Lakewood, however it was our first time renting a cabin. When we had a concern I went to LCR property management and she had someone at the house before I even got back! I was very impressed and happy with the service, everyone is so friendly and helpful. They are the true definition of “southern hospitality”. I highly recommend!

  Property showing age inside: bad floor especially entering the kitchen, paper peeling off around windows, storm door closer off and laying on shelf above dryer, needs blackout curtains in bedrooms, rust on refrigerator, rocker recliner old , dirty and fabric worn through on footrest. One burner on stove does not work well. Outside handrail dirty (we cleaned)

  The location of the rental unit was busy due to the mobile units being brought in and out of storage, the unit itself was overall clean, but there are some maintenance issues that has to be addressed during our stay, the screen door latch was not working properly and we were locked out of our unit, only 2 of the 4 eyelets on the stove worked, verticle blinds need to be replaced for privacy, and overall basic maintenance of the property, such as paint peeling in the window, the drawers in the bedrooms need to be adjusted and the bathroom towel rack needs to be adjusted so it just doesn't fall off. Overall maintenance was friendly and fixed the door, however, the stove issue was not addressed.

  We love the all-inclusiveness of Lakewood. There's plenty for the children to do and we feel that they can ride bikes or go play putt-putt without being concerned that they are in danger. The house at 8137 Seascape was well kept and the kitchen had needed items for cooking meals in house.

  The facilities were nice. The space was great for a family of 5. The Villa was clean and stocked with basic necessities. The villa is on a main Path for RV hauling, so that was a bit noisy. But over all, I would definitely stay here again.

  was very hesitant about staying at a Campground but my brother and sister in law were coming down from Delaware and had made reservations at Lakewood. I previously had only stayed in hotels when coming to Myrtle Beach so I reluctantly made reservation for a villa at Lakewood Campground. Was very pleasantly surprised and happy after arriving. Kristen was very nice and professional, our villa was very clean and exceeded my expectations. Will always stay at Lakewood Campground from now on... had an Awesome Time and the emennities were great. Enjoyed the golf cart too. Only way to from campsite to campsite.

  This house is back off the beaten path but it is a great location. The only drawback would be that it sits directly across from the entrance to the camper storage. The trucks are going in and out pretty early in the morning and come around the corner pretty quickly. Definitely need to keep an eye on smaller children playing in the yard so that they don't get in the street. We've stayed in several villas at Lakewood and were pleased again with this rental.

  As usual...Fantastic! Never long enough. Even the "Palmetto Bugs" for all intense and purposes, stayed away. Only "blip" was the continued failure to enforce the driver requirements for driving the golf carts. Again, residents and tourists alike, allow -16 year olds to drive the golf carts. The biggest complaint is the recklessness & very loud, inappropriate music. Not to mention laying on their horns after 10pm. If we're expect to abide by the rules & regulations, they should be enforced by Security to EVeryone.. Most of the time Security is seen around the park in their golf carts. But it appears that there is much reluctance to do anything, as to not upset the apple cart (ie: the paying residents & guests). This is an accident just waiting to happen. Otherwise, a great time. However, it'll sadly be Our last time, due to that We just purchased a home in Myrtle Beach. Thank you for the wonderful times We had at Lakewood.

  My family and I had a very nice stay at this house. No real issues except for some cockroaches that would come out one in a while. I think we had to kill 5 or so in the stay. Otherwise a very nice stay.
