  We personally own a permanent site in Lakewood but since we had children and grandchildren down for the Easter Sunrise Service we needed more space. In 21 years my wife and I have only missed 1 Sunrise Service and it was great this year ! The weather was wonderful-sent by God and the young man who delivered the message did a wonderful job-honoring Jesus our Savior!

  So much fun for all ages. We had our grandkids they enjoyed the waterpark- golf- paddle boats- ice cream shop and the beach. Great place for family fun. It was nice to see church services offered. I definitely recommend this location.

  We’ve camped at Lakewood several times and grands live it, so when we had RV issues and plans with other campers we opted for a rental. The sleeper sofa was broke so for 6 nights we were down a bed. Luckily our fellow travelers had a twin air mattress we were able to borrow and a couple pieces of egg crate foam so we made do. LCR Management was very quick to respond and very helpful.

  Camping with my two daughters and their families . My daughters have campers and stay at your property on a regular basis . This was our first time camping with them .   Great unit to rent. We’ve already reserved it again for a summer stay.
  Clean, comfy and convenient.
  Kitchen stocked well except could use more serving bowls.
  Front door needs repair. Hard to close fully as its out of line.

  The location and the amenities of the Campground are fabulous and I will be back hopefully God allowing I will purchase a home in the park and retire at Lakewood. The rental was nice and clean. The only disappointing thing was that a couple of the nails came out of the railing spindles and I informed the maintenance crew and they said they would be back to fix them but they didn't come back I felt like it was a safety hazard for the spindles to be loose. Hopefully they fix them before the next rental.
