  This was our 4th trip staying in a villa at Lakewood and this was the cleanest and nicest one we have stayed in. We spend a lot of time in our villa so we notice some of the smallest flaws. We have 3 children and stay for a week at a time and typically cook 3 times a day and constantly doing laundry. We was very pleased with this villa! The kitchen was well stocked, everything seemed new and functioned great, and the beds were comfortable! My only complaint while being there is we found 3 dead roaches upon arrival. During our stay we seen 2 alive. Other than that we would definitely recommend this villa and stay in it again! Would’ve definitely gave 5 stars across the board but the bugs were a concern!

  My family and I have been renting villas for many years. We’ve always been very satisfied and never had cause to express any concerns until this year. The cleanliness of the house was very unsatisfactory. The floors were filthy, not swept or mopped. There was dried food/spills on the kitchen table, counter, and sink. The bathroom had what appeared to be toothpaste spit/splattered on the faucets and sinks and one of the bathtub drains was completely full of hair that had to be removed for the water to drain. There was also a Gatorade bottle, cotton balls, hairpins and Nerf gun “bullets” under one of the beds and a kitchen fork under one of the others. I spent the first 2 hours of my vacation cleaning the house that I paid to rent that should have already been cleaned by the company that is getting paid to do so. I did express my concerns to the LCR Office and the ladies were very kind. I also know that this wasn’t an isolated incident as I witnessed some cleaning people return to a neighbors villa. Although I was very disappointed with the condition of the house and hope that steps will be taken to correct the issues, we enjoyed our stay and will not let this affect our plans to rent again in the future. I hope this review will be useful.

  Everything was fine, except there was NO garbage collection at any time during our stay for this property . Collection was made in the park one day out of 7 days but they totally missed this unit.

  Great place to stay. First thought with it being so far from the beach we we wouldn’t like it but it was great and the house was every thing we could want. I recommend this place to my friends,family and all new comers just wish I could go more.

  We had a great time. So much to do at the Resort. Kids had a great time and the adults did also. The chairs in the living room need to be updated - they are both uncomfortable and very used.

  Very nice, spacious and extremeley clean are what you get with this rental. Tucked away on a secondary road, this corner lot allowed for great parking and eliminated constant traffic and noise.
  The covered front porch with picnic table allowed plenty of room for outdoor dining and sitting around with extra chairs watching the sunsets and enjoying the outdoors.

  We were scheduled to stay in a place that was cclose to the trading post and got notice at check in that we have been moved which was fine, but was put all the way in the back. Could have been informed before we arrived. We were celebrating our 18th anniversary. We do love Lakewood and will continue to camp there.
