  We had a wonderful time. We loved that this villa had a large dinner table. Our daughter and her family who stayed in another villa was able to come to our place and eat with us and play games with us because we had a large table to gather around. We made some great memories this trip!

  The furniture was very soiled with spots. Needs to be cleaned or covered. Ceiling fans needed cleaning.
  I like Lakewood Camping resort a lot. I plan to return when I plan my next vacation.

  My kids and I stayed in this unit last year so we knew pretty much what to expect when arriving this year. However, I will say the unit was much dirtier this year. There’s terrible amounts of mildew (and possibly mold) growing in the bathroom from lack of proper cleaning. The furniture needs a good steam cleaning because it is stained really bad now. The floors were pretty disgusting when we arrived (same as last year). I understand that sand is a nuisance to clean. However there wasn’t even a dustpan in the house for us to sweep up the mess with. I think this property needs a really good deep cleaning and restock of necessary cleaning equipment for guests and it would be perfect. Still love the location and ease of getting to the trading post, coffee shop, beach and pools...just want to see the unit cleaner.

  The rental was fantastic. We arrived early like 1pm. We stopped by the renta place and our place was ready and they allowed us to check in. I liked the 3 bedrooms, small but it’s a campground, your outside doing fun things. The beds were pretty comfortable. The WiFi wasn’t working when we first got there. Maintenance came promptly and worked out the issue. Will stay in this place again.

  Check in was not very pleasant. I have stayed on the campsite side and I can definitely say that the employees there are much more friendly. I arrived about an hour ahead of check in and the unit wasn’t ready, which was fine. I was told it was being cleaned. However, other people were being told they could go into their units even though cleaning crews were in them. I ended up having to wait until after 4 before they would give me keys. So in total I waited two hours. It wouldn’t have been that bad if I could’ve at least gotten our parking pass to get inside to take my kids to the trading post. After being in the car for over four hours, they were not in a good mood sitting for two hours to wait on our unit. The rental was as expected in regards to size. It had a lot of damage and wasn’t very clean when we arrived. However, the location made up for that as we were able to easily ride our bikes anywhere within the campground in just a few minutes. I have not received my deposit back yet. I’m not sure how long that takes, but that is frustrating.

  We had 6 adults and 1 child. It worked for us. The kitchen was small, not a lot of counter space. The microwave was hard to access. I had to stand in a chair to reach it. The location was great. Close to the trading post and putt putt. We love Lakewood and had a great vacation experience.

  Cottage was cute, 2 good sized bedrooms and 1 tiny bedroom. Had to get a little creative with storing cabinet groceries, but everything was functional. Plenty of cooking accessories and plenty of living space. Does not have a grill or outdoor seating but we had a fantastic stay and were comfortable! Love Lakewood!!

  clean,delightfully decorated with a "beach" theme, approx 600 square feet (30X20), useful appliances, utensils, drawers, closets, beds, from reservation to move in, to move out, to turning keys in, all things were great, walking distance to everything, but some many prefer golf-cart, or car, TV in living room may need some help on volume, we couldn't figure it out. instructions were clear, says it sleeps eight, technically that's true, but only 1.5 bath, might be tight, we were only 2 people it worked great for us, we had to put non-refrigerated food we purchased on table, no other convenient place for it, but that worked for us. microwave is high, above oven, stove and fan, it required tall person to operate it. All appliances were in working order and they had plenty of dishware and utensils for our needs. AC great, hot water, great, loved the decor

  Villa was very well maintained. Parking was very tight for two cars. I had to buy an extension cord to plug in golf cart so I did not have to drive back past the neighbors flower bed. There is room for eight, but it is tight. This property is not on the main street so there was not a lot of traffic to deal with. WE have rented for several years and stayed in 5 or 6 different properties and this ranks up toward the top. I would recommend this to any family.
