  The overall villa was nice. The hot & cold water was reversed in the shower located in the addition. Several light bulbs were burned out. New light bulbs available but we had no way to reach and replace them. The addition bedroom and the back bedroom needs new mattresses as they were extremely soft.

  The LCRR staff are amazing! We truly love our interactions with them. The unit was sufficient, we are going to try another unit that looks like it’s more updated because the cost continues to climb, have to maintain a higher quality experience of accommodation.

  fun park, fun experience in the park with wonderful activities and amenities. This particular cottage needed some serious updates. Furniture was stained. Blinds would not work, dryer worked on certain cycle, space was tight. No porch like other cottages.

  Overall it was great. Rooms were small, but having 2.5 bathrooms was great. Kitchen/dining area was great and spacious. The only negative thing I have to say is the showers had cracks in them and water ran all over the floor. We were constantly soaking water with towels to keep floor dry. Those floors will rot out quickly if not corrected. I loved that there is a washer and dryer inside the unit. I was able to keep clothes washed and keep the flow of clean towels and wash cloths for each day. The tv was hard to figure out and once we did find something to watch the tv would glitch or the WiFi and we’d lose the movie or show we were watching.

  We absolutely loved our stay. Staff was super helpful and friendly, villa was clean and in great shape and easy access to the beach. The weather didn't quite cooperate during our stay, but we had a blast anyways. Will definitely be back again!

  We spent a weekend in October here to take advantage of the Halloween festivities that occur and we LOVED it! There is so much to do, we were right next to the lake so we fished a lot, and the beach was right down the road. We will definitely be staying here again!

  We enjoyed our stay so much that we wanted to stay longer. There was an issue with the door. We would think it was closed but it wasn’t. Our dog would put his feet on the door and open it. Our dog got out twice but was quickly retrieved. The door was our biggest issue. We will definitely be vacationing in the campground again. The location of this house is perfect. Enjoyed watching the turtles and the geese.

  Been camping at Lakewood for over 10 years. It was the first time renting a house. I didn’t know what to expect. My family camped so we were able to still enjoy the camping part. My only two complaints are the box spring covers being dirty and stained and the door locks need to be fiixed. Not the easiest to use without pushing and pulling. There is also a big gap in the door. I’m sure there is a lot of heat coming in and making the air conditioner run more.

  Location is perfect. Was a little disappointed that the deck in front was gone and no chairs to sit outside on. The flooring in one bathroom could be replaced in there. we also had some bugs crawling around in the bathroom. They did come and spray but we still noticed them. Overall the unit is spacious, decorated nicely and was clean and comfortable. Could use some extra wastebaskets in the bedrooms .

  We love Lakewood Camping Resort and this was our first experience staying in a rental unit. The unit was clean, nicely painted and decorated and the A/C worked great. The supplied linens were wrapped in cellophane so all blankets were clean. The bedrooms were very small but the kitchen and living room were adequate. We requested glasses and more blankets and they were promptly supplied. The oven started turning on automatically and as soon as we called maintenance they came and replaced the older stove. Some electrical sockets didn't work and they fixed them promptly. The floor sagged in the one bathroom and the newer shower floor in the other bathroom was not supported underneath and cracked when a child was showering. The door to the unit was difficult to close. The bathroom and door issues were not resolved and we only had 1 shower for 8 people which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, our vacation was great and maintenance and the rental company were professional and responsive.

  We used to vacation at Lakewood for decades. When our children started paying competitive baseball, we were unable to make the trip. This year our daughter graduated from college and asked to return for her grad gift. It was good to be back and we will try and return each year.

  We love Lakewood; however, our we spend 3 days with no cable or internet and the lady from LCR never returned our call. We have been there for several years and this year our friends and family took 6 villas. I would like to see better service from LCR. The campground is amazing!
