  My husband, who recently had a stroke, and I decided to take a late vacation to Mrytle Beach. I am a lifelong camper and lover of Lakewood, so there was no question as to where we wanted to stay. We opted for a vacation rental due to my husband's limitations.
  From arrival to departure, everyone from the ladies in the vacation rental office, security guards, maintenance, and trading post staff were pleasant and very helpful.
  We did not realize we had booked during the American Heart Association's annual horse ride. What a treat to see all the beautiful horses! We were also surprised, and delighted, to see all the Christmas decorations and holiday really put us in the Christmas spirit and relieved a lot of the year's stress.
  The rental was light and Airy, and was very clean. If I could give a suggestion, it would be that the furniture and beds should probably be replaced. A few of the tables and chairs were unsteady or broken. Other than that, the unit was well-stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans. If traveling with pets, you will especially enjoy the closed in deck on the backside of the rental. It faces Crater Lake, and provides a relaxing place to sit with your pet.
  This was our first late fall vacation, and I honestly didn't know what to expect. It will certainly not be my last. As usual, Lakewood did not disappoint. I am a loyal fan for life!

  This was our first time renting a vacation home in Lakewood. We have stayed in our camper in our previous trips. We rented 2879 the house was nicely decorated but there were several things that could use work. The door knob stuck badly, soft spots on the floor, and cable boxes and wires very close to the sink area could pose a hazard. The unit was very clean but the beds could all use new bed bug covers. Overall a great stay and would visit again.

  The rental needs new door locks. The ones on there are hard to open with key. Also I left place cleaner than the people who are suppose to clean it. Other than that was good week. Except rather high in price just because it has washer/ dryer.

  Unit was clean. Love the back porch. Smoke alarm was beeping when I first arrived. Called office and someone came right away and replaced the battery. Outlet where coffee pot was wasn’t working. It needs to be fixed.

  Was happy to see this property had quite a few improvements from previous stays although there is still more that could be done. Have been coming to Lakewood for a number of years and it is always an enjoyable vacation. Would very much like to see the monthly rentals moved back to September as it was several years ago.

  The rental was great for a family of 3 and a dog. There were some spots that could have been cleaner (feet were black from walking barefoot on floor within an hour of being there, base of toilet was not clean, etc.). The master bedroom TV didn’t work, didn’t try secondary bedroom. Overall, had everything we needed for a week! The main/front desk refused to help with parking pass/extra pool bands while LCR was closed throughout the week, however, LCR apologized. Good communication throughout Idalia.

  We loved the villa and the campground.
  Would have appreciated some instructions on how to work TV'S. Was a nightmare to find local channels and never did figure out what I did to get them. All rental properties need to leave instructions. Loved being able to rent golf cart because we can't walk much and loved not having to drive our vehicle. Would stay there again.

  The Internet and boxes were hanging from backs of TV'S without support. Maurice was knowledgeable and helped with a professional attitude. This needed to be taken care of before we arrived. Otherwise, a pleasant visit. Inside was clean. Would have been in good taste to notify us to bring our own beach chairs and umbrella. We enjoyed our stay overall 😎.

  the villa was nice, small but quaint. Plenty of hot water. Deck was big and had a very nice view. The 1/2 bath was very small but ok. Kitchen well stocked with items to use. Plenty of towels sets. Great there was a stackable washer and dryer. Did not have to bring home dirty laundry.

  Being a 46 year veteran camper who sold our RV recently, we were looking for a pet friendly place. Found you online. The villa was perfect for us. We could stay at a campground (we camped at Lakewood over the years )and take advantage of all of the amenities. Although the villa could use some maintenance work, we thoroughly enjoyed having our own little “house” at the beach.

  Remembering the great time and secure feeling we enjoyed two years ago when we stayed at LCR Resort, we chose to come back. Our Villa was clean, cool, and very comfortable. The entertainment facilities, pools, water slides, etc. There are many, many fun things to do (all at no charge) at LCR.
