  1st,check in was super fast & simple. 2nd the house smelled super clean when we walked in. A few things couple of been cleaner but all in all good. 3rd, We had a small bug problem day 3 and they were there in 10 mins to spray & never seen another one (its the south, it happens). My only suggestion would of been updating dished but they is very petty, only 1 measuring cup and it was a 1/4 cup, again. Petty, just a suggestion. Know that the rooms are small, we had 8 adults but made it work. Location was great, we had 2 golf carts so we put one of our vehicles in over-flow parking, parking is tight. Oh, one last thing, I wish the deck was part of the cleaning. We had to clean off a bunch of spider webs on deck, windows & back door (it is on the water so we
  understand) we did it ourselves, but would of been nice if it was done. The deck is new and very nice. We took it all in as we may be purchasing a house in the future in Lakewood.

  It was Awesome!! From a Grand Baby Gender Reveal “GIRL” to some beautiful sunshine to preparing for a storm and flooding to eating seafood to staying inside playing cards & board games while Mother Nature’s Tropical Storm “IDALIA” put down lots of rain & some wind to clear up fast to end our vacation with a few more beautiful sunshine days. Just to say Goodbye Lakewood Camping Resort , We will be back next year!!! We loved it!!!

  We loved our stay but were extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the house! No broom or sweeper had been passed. The toilet wasn't even cleaned, there was hair everywhere. We are above the cleanliness of the place considering the price we pay for the rental.

  We loved our villa as far as the location and the size. The entire unit smelled of smoke. My granddaughter even commented on my clothes smelling like smoke. My 7 yo grandson’s first words when we walked into the villa was “gross this smells like smoke”. We called the office and 2 young men who had no clue what they were doing, sprayed some deodorizer in the floor vents. Did not help at all. We bought spray air freshener but it also helped very little. Parking was extremely tight. For a villa that sleeps 8, we had to pay $35 for an additional parking permit. And then finding a place for 2 vehicles and a golf cart was almost impossible. Kitchen was minimally stocked but we made do. Otherwise we were very happy and booked for 2024.

  This was a very nice and clean rental. The only issue is the access to the back deck through the small area in the bedroom is not conducive for larger groups. Nice new patio and no bugs which was a huge plus!!

  We had a great stay, loved the location, but just a couple small complaints with the villa. Our bedroom door would not close and had a door stopper to help but was not good for privacy obviously. The back deck and deck stairs were very likely to give a splinter and the stairs are sinking into the ground. The back porch lights didn't work so we were the only dark villa at night when it was nice to hang out. With a few repairs I would definitely recommend this villa.

  We had a great time! We love the location. The only issues we have is with the living room furniture (needs to be cleaned) and there was a broken glass left on the back deck. The deck is in need of repairs and better outdoor furniture. Hopefully, these are things that can be easily fixed!

  When we arrived everyone was very helpful and the checkin was very quick. The location of the villa on Crater lake was so peaceful we enjoyed a lot of time sitting on the back deck overlooking the water. The geese, ducks and turtles always came around to keep us company and keep us entertained. There is so much to do you really don’t know where to start. The only bad part is the owner does need to fix some soft spots in the floor of the built on part as well as the back deck ..... but overall it was a great experience.

  We absolutely enjoyed our stay!! :-) The rental was very clean. The only thing I would mention, is there is supposed to be a queen bed. None of the beds seemed to be a queen. There were a couple of soft places in the flooring and the back deck was in pretty bad shape. The front of the house was in need of a power washing. I will add none of these things upset our stay!!   This was our 1st visit to Lakewood. Overall, it was plenty of room for our family of 8. Ceiling fan in kitchen didn’t work, which made it hot when cooking and there was no broom to sweep every day. The back deck and picnic table need replacing. Other than that it had everything we needed. Would stay here again.

  We had a great time at Lakewood Campground and stayed in Villa 2877 on Crater Lake. The villa has lots of room for a group of 8! The only thing I would suggest to the owner is to update the living room furniture. It is soiled quite a bit and looks dirty. The sleeper sofa is very uncomfortable to sleep on. I would suggest bringing something to make the mattress more comfortable!! Oh and the back steps on the deck really need to be replaced. They are leaning and I could see this as being a safety hazard! The view of Crater Lake is awesome and it is a very quiet area to be in the campground. Rent a golf cart if you are staying here, unless you enjoy walking to the beach--which I do..but the rest of my family does not. We will be returning next year. Hope to see these changes to the rental!

  We recently had a family reunion at the Villlas. We were satisfied with the rentals as far as their condition, the location, the staff was nice but we didn’t have the space to visit outdoors between the rentals. The backyards are very close to the lake .
